Description:

This role supports the Americas Pricing Team with focus on driving margin improvement through contracts. Solenis has many types of consignment and non-consignment contracts:

  • Consumption Based Consignment ($/lb.)
  • Production Based Consignment ($/ton or $MM gallons of water)
  • Total Cost Consignment (Fixed Billing)
  • One time billing (non-Consignment)

This role will work closely with the pricing directors, commercial team, and product managers to perform the following key activities:

  • Identify all existing contracts in North and Latin America today. Work with team to create monthly KPI’s to measure over usage and margin leakage. Take lead to set up monthly reviews with sales and pricing team to review data, drive accountability, and to fix customer specific issues.
  • Identify ideal situations to migrate customers from ship/bill to possible contract situations. Goal over time is to do more contracts and drive increased margin.
  • Help drive creating negotiation strategies with the sales team. Become a negotiation coach.
  • Work closely with our Contract Analyst to optimize contract administration.
  • Partner with our Sr. Director, North America Products and Marketing, Industrial and Consumer Solutions to support the Equipment team with focus on driving revenue opportunities and improving how equipment allocations are done at SKU level.

The other role is working with the Industrial business to support the Food & Beverage Segment estimated to be $100MM per year. In this role the successful analyst will focus on the following:

  • Setting overall pricing strategy for the BU/region.
  • Identifying and executing the price target needed to meet the profitability goals of the business.
  • Reviewing deals and providing advice on improving pricing/profitability.
  • Setting pricing policies and designing approval workflows.
  • Price administration.
  • Price performance tracking and communication back to Sr Mgmt.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for North and Latin Americas consignment and non-consignment contracts, interface with commercial team and pricing directors to implement gross margin expansion.
  • Support the Global Equipment Team as strategic business partner to Equipment Team Leadership.
  • Preparing monthly KPI summaries and reviews to drive visibility and accountability.
  • Support the Global Equipment Team as strategic business partner to Equipment Team Leadership.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or another business-related degree.
  • Must have at least 2 years of real business experience. Finance experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, negotiation, and excel skills.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, and/or Tableau
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Effective communications skills
