The Role & The Team:

As part of the Druva Business Development Associate Program, you will learn about Druva and the data resiliency industry, as well as build business and sales acumen to get your career off to a great start. Our Business Development Associates will play a critical role in our growth by helping to produce qualified sales opportunities and evangelizing Druva. We are looking for candidates who are excited about advancing their knowledge and careers! This program is ideal for someone looking to start or switch to a career in software sales.
The Business Development Associate (BDA) role serves as the entry-level role into a sales career at Druva and is designed to be your first look into how we sell Druva products. In this role, you will be trained in, and periodically evaluated on, core sales skills to become a client-facing Business Development Representative (BDR). Successful BDAs think critically, learn through coaching from their mentors, and build and improve their skills throughout their tenure in this program. This role is a 3 month contract, and you may be eligible to continue into the BDR role based upon your success in this program.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Participate in Druva’s new hire academy to learn our product, process and values • Participate in regimented trainings, shadowing, learning modules, and other growth opportunities offered throughout the program
  • Learn how to source and prospect by shadowing Business Development Reps and Account Executives
  • Become a confident daily user of sales tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and more
  • Participate in team meetings and events
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Enablement on campaigns, messaging and prospect feedback
  • Partner with Sales Managers to plan and execute sales campaigns by targeting potential customers
  • Research prospective clients and leverage sales tools to source new businesses and contacts
  • Set up sales discovery calls with prospective clients
  • Promote Druva on social media
