Business Development Executive

We are expanding our sales team at Classlist covering UK and international advertiser accounts and working with media agencies. At Classlist we work with advertisers that are looking to reach school parents through Classlist's market-leading Edtech SAAS platform. We're looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated salespeople to join our existing team.

Responsibilities

Classlist's advertising clients range from local after-school clubs and tutors to regional children's activity camps, national food delivery companies and global businesses.

The role involves all aspects of the sales process including active prospecting, qualification, evaluation and closing the deal for advertising on a monthly or up to a 12 month contract.

  • your own lead generation;
  • outbound calling and responding to inbound leads;
  • sale negotiation
  • Recording and updating information in our CRM system (Hubspot) and custom-built automated sales systems, along with Google Analytics and Data Studio.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move multiple transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
  • Provide presentations, product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers, along with proposal writing to prospects.
  • Provide regular reporting of prospecting, pipeline and forecast through the CRM system.
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff.
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience

  • At least 2 yrs Telesales experience, ideally targeting advertisers / or media agencies.
  • Previous experience in a technology company, ideally SaaS based would be beneficial.
  • Used to working in a small team (<10)
  • Ability to think creatively about potential sectors and how to reach them.

Compensation

  • Base salary and uncapped commission (OTE £40k+)
  • Enrolment in the company pension scheme
