Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement successful sales strategies and tactics within our utility target markets
  • Develop and close new sales within utilities to meet quotas and sales goals
  • Develop and implement detailed account penetration and market plans
  • Prioritize opportunities based on probability, size, timing and strategic initiatives
  • Develop long term relationships within our utility markets and customer base
  • Work with our partners to identify and win new sales
  • Ensure sales strategies are aligned with the overall market and financial objectives
  • Be prepared to rapidly respond to new opportunities, customer inquiries and site issues
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to develop Go To Market strategies
  • Provide routine reporting on sales activities, market needs and resources needed
  • Stay apprised of the latest tends and solutions within ADMS and utility solutions
  • Attend industry events and conferences

Key qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience selling software and SaaS energy management, ADMS and grid analytics solutions to large utilities
  • Proven experience selling at all levels within a utility from users to C-level executives
  • Working knowledge of utilities and the energy market
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas and market growth goals
  • Ability to develop and implement Go To Market strategies and sales plans including measurable goals and timelines
  • Extensive knowledge of effective large enterprise sales practices specifically for the energy markets
  • Comfortable and proficient in reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders both within AutoGrid as well as external customers
  • Impeccable organization and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams efficiently and effectively.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline moving sales through a large enterprise sales process
  • Proficiency with common sales and business productivity software
  • Creative and resourceful
