The Business Development Manager partners to strengthen and support the BDRs by focusing on the team’s daily execution strategy & fostering a culture of growth. The goal of the BDR Manager will be to take on broader responsibilities of building pipelines, driving individual growth, and enabling ‘best practice’ adoption across the BDR team while also achieving their team quota.

We are looking for leadership that will help accelerate the value of the BDR program, while also motivating the troops on the battlefield.
Responsibilities:
- Achievement of team quota which is focused on delivery of monthly qualified appointments to Sr. Sales Representatives in our Manufacturing division.
- Recruitment, onboarding, and continued education programs focused on BDR’s development.
- Daily support to BDRs around sales strategy, processes, & pipeline generation.
- Develop BDR focused sales training and playbook.
- Optimizing the outreach strategy (phone, email, LinkedIn, SMS, etc.) to set up appointments and opportunities for New System Sales.
- Develop and deliver monthly BDR KPI reports to leadership and internal cohort organizations.
- Support the development/revisions of messaging used on BDR team across channels.
- Collecting prospect intel from BDRs to share with marketing, sales, leadership.
- Partnering with other BDR Managers on internal projects like our BDR Mentorship Program, technology, etc.
- Assist with BDR technology launches, enhancements, and team adoption.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales or business development (or similar) in a B2B environment
1-2+ years of experience in a team lead or management role
- Previous experience in software sales and/or selling to manufacturers is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytic gathering, & KPI presentation skills
- Prospecting, closing, & qualifying skills. Mid-Large enterprise market experience is a plus.
- Project planning and timeline execution
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Create persuasive prospect messaging (written/verbal)
- Previous experience with SFDC CRM, Outreach.io, Drift, and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
- Up to 10% Travel, primarily for special events or training.
