Business Development Representative

Sunlighten is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team! This opportunity is fully remote for candidates who are not in the Kansas City Metro area; however, the first week of training will be at our headquarters in Overland Park, KS. 2022 was a great year for our B2B department and we will maintain this growth into 2023. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and experience in finding business and converting them into sales and relationships. After completing an in-depth training program, you will become an expert in our patented infrared sauna technology and you will find, attract and close potential commercial and B2B clients on our product. **Next Sales Training Class will begin on May 15th**

Candidates must be willing to complete the first week of training at our headquarters in Overland Park, KS.


Duties:

  • Develop strong relationships and build trust with our primary clients- business owners or decision makers within organizations (wellness centers, holistic health centers, day spas, hotels/hospitality industry, home builders, designers, etc.)
  • Strategically identify new opportunities through cold calls and prospecting to fill up a pipeline that produces and hits the BD monthly quota
  • Ramp-up over the course of 4 months- we will provide the tools/opportunity to perfect your demos, build relationships, and find quick sales to begin earning commission
  • Hit long term KPI’s from a performance standpoint including revenue targets, cold call lists, lead generation, activity metrics, etc.
  • Never step or shy away from a challenge- be ready to work with a winning team of sales professionals and leaders
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepare contracts and submit orders
  • Collaborate with other departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly

Requirements

Sunlighten is only authorized to have employees in the following states, so you must be living in one of these states in order to work with us at this time:

AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, KS, ME, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NC, NY, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA

If you do not live in one of the states listed above, don't fret! We reassess a couple of times a year and might be adding your state soon!

  • Must be willing to come to Overland Park, KS for one week of training at our Headquarters
  • Hunter mentality and excellent understanding of what it takes to fill a pipeline
  • Self-driven with superior interpersonal communication skills that will allow you to overcome objection/challenges

Compensation:

We hold a high standard but so is our earning potential - with over 50% of our fully ramped sales staff making a comfortable 6-figures.
