The Opportunity

Friendbuy was named by Segment.com as the fastest-growing referral platform in the industry. We’re in the lead position to power referral & loyalty for all of e-commerce, and we’re expanding our Sales team by adding a Business Development Representative that can help us build and scale the Outbound engine to be a key driver of revenue.

Friendbuy offers cutting-edge technologies and boasts an impressive roster of clients. Your opportunity is to leverage this foundation to grow revenue through execution. OTE compensation is highly competitive and we can offer attractive equity packages to those who are interested. Our ideal candidate enjoys learning new technologies and is hungry to grow into a high performing technology sales Account Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Source & qualify leads for the Friendbuy sales team
  • Develop, test and iterate messaging to grab the attention of our target personas: e-commerce marketers, executives, product managers and founders
  • Develop working knowledge of Friendbuy’s product offerings: referral program & loyalty technologies for e-commerce
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to develop strategies for prospecting across Friendbuy’s target industries and execute on these strategies
  • Achieve and exceed quotas for meetings, opportunities and closed business
  • Manage workflows within our sales stack: Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, eTail Insights and FrontApp
  • Other job-related duties as assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience, preferably at a marketing technology or software company
  • Advanced proficiency with computer and related technologies (productivity software, digital marketing, communication and collaboration technologies)
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to operate in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Collaborative, intellectually curious, ambitious and self-aware
  • Embrace building trust through execution
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields
