About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for sorting high-quality sellers, reaching out to potential oversea/local partners, and onboarding new leads. You'll be starting at an exciting time where you'll have the opportunity to build on the momentum and work with cross-functional global teams.

*THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE WITH A HYBRID SCHEDULE, REMOTE IS NOT AN OPTION*

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard sellers overseas/locally to help broaden our ever-growing online marketplace to a vast array of food carriers and partners.
  • Identify and contact selective high potential oversea/local sellers and contact their decision makers.
  • Attend sales appointments, educating potential clients/food businesses on Weee!'s Marketplace business.
  • Work with sellers to grow the customer base by turning clients into long-term partners through constant contact, and client appreciation strategies.
  • Maintain and manage your high-potential list in our CRM and own the end-to-end sales performance process for a portfolio of sellers.
  • Gather and communicate sellers' feedback to our product teams to ensure the product innovates to fit the merchant's needs.

  • You are curious, persistent, and passionate about sales and always searching for creative solutions
  • Excellent at motivating potential partners to see the benefit Weee!'s Marketplace platform will bring to their business
  • Adapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet and be comfortable with working in a scaling startup environment
  • Due to the nature of this role, bilingual applicants preferred: Chinese/Japanese/Korean and English

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $64,000 - 70,000
  • This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, incentives, and benefits
  • Our salary contents are determined by role, level, and location
