What it means to be on our BDR Team:
We are building/evolving an awesome sales culture with teammates who are motivated, thoughtful, avid learners, and customer obsessed... all with the baseline interest in building their professional sales careers within a tech startup. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be a crucial contributor to our fast growing Corporate Account line of business. This means getting hands-on experience calling into various key industries, working to schedule sales meetings between potential clients and ezCater Account Executives.

You Will:

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities by establishing relationships with companies (Mid-Market = less than 1,000 employees) across the country
  • Work with Sales Leadership to create and implement a territory prospecting strategy
  • Learn to use a set of tech tools such as Hubspot, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Use multiple channels to connect with potential prospects, and generate interest through conversation with corporate customers leveraging social, phone, email and some potential in-person events

You Have:

  • The ability to be highly organized and remain self accountable in daily communication and prospecting activity efforts for maximum success
  • Excellent phone, email and social etiquette and closing skills when securing appointments
  • Stellar written and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and target drive

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience in sales or appointment setting
  • Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions

The national on-target earnings (base salary + commission) cash compensation range for this role is $62,000-$70,000* per year.

  • Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
