Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energized individual with strong sales instinct to join our team as a Business Development Representative (BDR).
Reporting to the Sr. Demand Generation Manager, the BDR will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and booking new customer meetings for the sales team to close. This individual will interact with prospective clients of all levels, in a variety of industries and across a broad geographic area. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute on cold calling and email campaign strategies to qualify potential customers as a match for our SaaS technology.
- Develop leads from marketing campaigns into sales opportunities by understanding their challenges/needs and effectively communicating Prodly's value.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Effectively utilize the lead qualification process as well as documenting sales information in Salesforce following the lead process.
- Meet monthly and quarterly qualified opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met.
- Utilize the sales tools provided.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background required
- Passion for technology and a focus on results
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- You aren't afraid to pick up the phone and reach out to a company we've never worked with before.
- Self-starter and hardworking, with a track record of success and drive for achievement
