Coda is a new doc that's familiar and flexible like the documents you're used to, but comes with building blocks you can combine to create docs as powerful as apps. About the Role

Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your Sales career in the tech industry? Coda is hiring for a Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing Sales team. Reporting to the Head of Sales Development, you'll identify ideal customer profiles of Coda and create new business opportunities for our Account Executive team. You'll be at the top of the sales funnel, so this is a great opportunity to develop your selling skills and grow your career in sales!

In this role you will:

  • Prospect to new Coda users and target accounts, establishing Coda's value and qualifying new opportunities while handling complex objections
  • Work with Account Executives to develop strategies for engaging prospects and establishing new relationships
  • Become an expert at using sales outreach and lead generation tools to create targeted lists of prospects
  • Use multiple channels such as email, phone, social media, direct mail and video messaging to engage prospects
  • Be an essential asset to Coda's product and engineering teams by providing feedback to improve our platform

  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • You have genuine curiosity for understanding problems and uncovering ways to solve for them
  • You are team-oriented with a natural desire to work with peers and across teams
  • Experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required
