Pay Grade
Salaried grade 4 or 7, depending on qualifications
$55,900 - $78,700 / year, depending on experience and qualifications
The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is a hybrid-remote position. A minimum of 16 hours per week must be completed in-office at our Collegedale, Tennessee office with the remaining time available for remote work.

Job Summary
This is an opportunity to work within our Sales Information Department which includes a team of Analysts, Space Management, Merchandising, and Category Management personnel dedicated to supporting our organization in the maximization of the Baked Sweet Goods and Granola categories.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Design and develop Tableau reporting
  • Conduct analysis to identify opportunities for growth
  • Interpret data to maximize product and category sales
  • Produce clear and impactful data visualizations and reports
  • Identify new and relevant applications for existing data
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports
  • Identify and recommend new methods for selling, marketing, and approaching business processes
  • Use data to create models that depict trends in sales, customers, and shoppers
  • Work with department managers to outline specific data needs for each business analysis project
  • Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data
  • Assist with training other users of reports and reporting software

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • At least one or more years of experience as a data analyst or in a related field
  • Experience managing and manipulating large, complex datasets and techniques to build models that drive company decision making
  • Experience accessing data from structured databases
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience creating structured datasets from unstructured data
  • Ability to draw conclusions and provide key insights from data and research
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • High level of initiative and drive – ability to prioritize a variety of projects and tasks
  • Willing and able to work on a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes such as Alteryx
  • Experience using R, SAS, or Python to manage large data sets
  • Functional understanding of statistical methods and their implementation within a business context
  • Working knowledge of the retail and/or Consumer Packaged Goods industries and the processes, practices, trends, and technology that impact them
  • Working knowledge of shopper insights research including consumer survey research methodologies, data tabulation, and crosstab multivariate analysis
  • Familiarity with consumer panel data and shopper data (I.e. Nielsen Homescan, Dunnhumby, etc.)
