The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer II works collaboratively with end users/clients to develop solutions that provide accessible information for decision-making. The Senior BI Developer uses data sourced from internal and/or external systems and uses MS Azure tools and Power BI to solve client/organizational problems by translating data to usable information by performing analysis, creating dashboards and data visualizations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Works on complex tasks and broad projects that are large and diverse in scope and/or critical in nature
Participates Scrum team development efforts and solution development efforts
Uses data to drive ROI goals and ensure iterative improvements
Builds excellent partnership relationships with clients
Shows consistent success in delivering innovative solutions.
Leads efforts with stakeholders and clients (internal and external)
Fosters networking and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency
Responsible for design reviews
Coaches others on development principles

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

Advanced BI developer skills (ETL, DB Design, Dashboard / Report Design)
Demonstrates mastery of development process
Is an expert in understanding client needs and translating them to BI solutions.
Advanced knowledge of software lifecycle
Advanced knowledge of agile process
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL
Advanced knowledge creating and managing SQL Server DB’s
Proficient in Power BI and Azure (ideally Azure Data Factory, Azure Repos, Azure Synapse)
Advanced knowledge of DAX and M development languages
