The Business Intelligence Solution Developer (BISD) is responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying business intelligence solutions that support the strategic objectives, mission and business intelligence strategy of the health system. The primary Emphasis areas will be Dev/Ops: Data Architecture/Engineering and Dev/Ops: Application Development. The BISD is part of team collaborating with business owners to gather explicit business requirements for business intelligence solutions and collaborating with technical teams and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) teams to develop needed data infrastructure for respective business intelligence solutions. The BISD will also support business intelligence tools and systems, and end-users of these tools and systems, contribute to and support data and analytic governance, process and tool documentation, data and analytic asset inventories, and business intelligence knowledge base documentation.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
One (1) to four (4) years’ experience in the following:
Microsoft SQL with the ability to write advanced queries.
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Experience with version control is also a plus.
ETL processes using SSIS in a data warehouse setting.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education, certifications (Microsoft certifications include the MTA, MCSE) and experience required.
