What You’ll Do
Help promote and expand the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU’s) corporate and risk intelligence service across the Bank by providing timely and accurate research and reporting support on the team’s current book of work. This includes enhanced research counterparty due diligence, specific sector reviews and geopolitical trend analysis, and other ad hoc topics of concern to the Bank
Provide administrative and linguistic support to Head of Business Intelligence Unit or other senior members of the team
Respond to all requests for information or reporting in a timely and accurate manner
Discharge all other associated administrative functions for the BIU or other assigned tasks, as needed
Recognizing the need to drive long-term success of the service the person will need to possess a ‘can do attitude’ and exemplary communication skills
Skills You’ll Need
Moderate years of experience with financial crime, bribery, corruption, or Enhanced Due Diligence reviews and analysis. In this context, experience in the financial services is desired, but not required
Expertise, previous experience, or academic focus on Latin America is preferred
Proficiency in Portuguese and / or Spanish. Other languages are a plus
A sound understanding of key regional political and socio-economic issues
Strong technical proficiencies. High proficiency in Word, MS Excel & PowerPoint
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Effective organizational and communication skill (both oral and written)
Ability to work independently and interact with senior management
Excellent analytical skills
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $60,000 to $90,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
