Summary
We are looking for an intern to join our Regulatory department at our 1800 Larimer building in downtown Denver, CO! The successful candidate must be able to work a maximum of 20 hours/per week during the school year and 30 hours per week during the summer. This is a paid position. The ideal candidate will be able to assist with regulatory filing compliance, working closely with the Legal Department. Primary tasks include (but are not limited to) administrative duties, document review and summarization (abstract or brief) support the Team’s SharePoint sites both internal and external, research, assisting with discovery coordination, submission of documents at the Public Utilities Commission (in downtown Denver), as well as record retention.
The intern is encouraged to find efficient ways to complete tasks in an organized manner. The intern will also back up other interns, as necessary.
Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Economics, English, or a related field
Open to students that are Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate students
A current driver's license is required. May be asked to use a company car for errands
Experience with Microsoft Office applications is essential (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
Attention to detail will also be critical for the successful candidate
Must be available for a maximum of 20 hours/per week during the school year and 30 hours per week during the summer
Preferred
Able to commit to the internship for 12 months or longer
An interest or coursework in pricing, accounting, and economics is preferred

Non-Bargaining
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $15.00 to $23.90 per hour
This position may also be eligible for the following benefits: Pension, 401(k) plan, Paid time off (PTO), Holidays, Personal holidays
Pay and benefit packages may vary based on position. Some employees are under collective bargaining agreements, which determine the benefits they will receive.
