Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Business Office Associate for the Real Estate Management department at Corporate.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for managing the 434 residential units owned in Morristown and Summit.
Acts as the initial point of contact for prospective tenants.
Maintains waiting lists.
Develops and enforces housing policies and rent calculations to Atlantic Health employee housing applicants and other tenants.
Interacts with COAH and related organizations to ensure compliance with affordable housing requirements.
Prepares leases and related documents and carries out tenant annual renewals.
Coordinates the annual medical resident housing application process with AHS Medical Education Department.
Works with on-site maintenance personnel to facilitate tenant move-ins and move-outs.
Performs required record keeping activities and prepares reports for state and local government agencies and housing surveys, as needed.
Manages accounts receivables
Works with outside counsel as needed regarding potential evictions
Manage Bookkeeping duties for residential properties that includes: depositing rent checks, inputting rent payments and security deposits to property management accounting software system, entering new tenants, vacating old tenants, and performing monthly tenant billings and closing procedures.
Ability to conduct regular onsite Apartment Inspections as needed
Ability to walk up stairs in non-elevator buildings
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:

High School diploma or GED required

Associates or bachelor's degree in health-care management, business or a related degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:

5+ years Apartment Leasing or Student Housing Experience preferred
