Job Summary
The Business Resilience Advisor carries out the responsibilities of the Enterprise Resilience Management Program. This includes delivery of the program objectives, strategy, planning, training, testing, and recovery. Directly interfacing with all areas of the organization to assure each has adequately planned and prepared for the recovery and continuation of their critical functions in the event of a major business disruption. This role supports and enables senior leaders and functional experts across all lines of business to integrate business resilience practices into their strategic business plans and daily process responsibilities. This includes the build out and maintenance of business impact analysis, continuity management and disaster recovery plans, consulting where project risks require contingency plans, and facilitating tabletop exercises.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Consultant - Provide advisory services and credible challenge to constituents related to the creation and on-going maintenance of business impact analysis, business continuity planning, disaster recovery planning and contingency plans where required.
Strategy - Partner with senior and executive leadership across the enterprise to enable the implementation of business resilience strategy and execution, use business and technical expertise (IT) to influence action plans and provide strategic recommendations that minimize risk. Create and enhance the Enterprise Business Resilience policies and affiliated standards.
Compliance - Regularly interface with regulatory partners, representing the business resilience function, leveraging FFIEC guidance as the foundation for interactions. Create reports to be leveraged across risk committees and the Board of Directors. Leverage the Enterprise GRC System to open and manage business resilience issues and risk acceptances. Educate constituents and less experienced peers on business resilience concepts and practices that will enable proper resilience risk management. Take strategic role in enterprise projects to ensure business resilience requirements are incorporated and executed.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

7+ years of experience working in the business resilience field.

Experience in developing and executing business impact analyses (risk assessments).

Experience in general IT operations.
Preferred Qualifcations:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or information systems.

Certification in CBCP, ABCP, CFCP, CBCV or MBCP.

3+ years of experience working in information technology operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written communication and presentation skills, experience presenting to execs.

Ability to lead conversation and influence desired outcomes, interpersonal skills.

Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Typical Starting Range:
$106,200.00 - $192,400.00
Full Salary Range for position:
California:$122,000.00 - $240,600.00
Colorado:$106,200.00 - $202,000.00
New York:$116,800.00 - $240,600.00
Washington:$111,400.00 - $221,100.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate’s first year of employment.
Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
