Position Overview:
We are seeking a collaborative and knowledgeable Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with HR functional areas, Ameresco business owners, and Business Analysts to research and resolve application issues, configure and maintain applications, and provide technical guidance and support. As a successful candidate, you will have experience in identifying solutions for business application system-related problems and delivering technical support to the Human Resource Executive, direct reports, and end users. This is position based out of our Framingham, MA office.
Responsibilities:
HRIT System Support:
Provide technical guidance, support, and solutions for end users of our HR systems, including Workday HCM, Talent Acquisition, Performance, Learning, and Time Tracking;
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and problems promptly and accurately, ensuring excellent customer service;
Collaborate with Business Systems and Data Analysts to address complex system issues;
Track, triage, and manage all tickets using JIRA;
Perform cyclical system administration tasks, such as audits, reporting, and system user access review;
Continuously explore technology-driven automation opportunities to enhance functionality and streamline processes;
Assist in evaluating, reviewing, specifying, and implementing new features/functionality within the systems;
Contribute to system testing, specification creation, and training efforts;
Identify and document process improvements that leverage technology and reduce manual efforts;
Reporting:
Collaborate with Data Analysts to fulfill ad-hoc report requests using Workday reporting capabilities;
Serve as a resource to staff, assisting in defining, implementing, and scheduling reports;
Review existing reports, leverage report library, and communicate report output to Operations;
Support the development and deployment of ad hoc and standard report capabilities;
Data Integrity & Security:
Participate in data audits and proactively address data integration issues;
Create and act upon audit queries to ensure data integrity in HCM Systems;
Collaborate with staff and Operations to identify and resolve data-related issues;
Work closely with IT to resolve system-related problems, ensure consistent data definitions, and propose solutions;
Assist in the review and testing of customizations, interfaces, and reports for accuracy;
Document data audits, definitions, and recommendations;
Maintain database tables and implement appropriate changes and updates;
Manage application security access and conduct security audits. And;
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
Around 3-4 years of previous Business Systems experience or similar.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Ability to uphold the confidentiality of all HR data.
Additional Qualifications:
Preferred experience or knowledge of Workday.
Familiarity with Human Resources and Payroll functional processes is advantageous.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Smartsheets, and JIRA is a plus.
Demonstrated functional and technical proficiency.
Excellent customer service skills and effective communication with non-technical employees and management.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask in a high-volume environment.
Experience working with test plans and test cases is desirable.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Workday or similar HCM systems is preferred
