Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and implementing technology solutions to meet the business needs of GMR Marketing. This person is responsible for working with, and becoming an expert on, existing and new business processes and software applications. Tasks and work being performed by our BSA include requirements gathering, Agile story creation (Jira), facilitating / leading end-user and team meetings, testing / acceptance criteria, and gaining in-depth knowledge of GMR’s business applications and processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Process Oriented. Drive process improvement through business process definition and system alignment. Document user requirements for projects, communicating the requirements to developers or vendors, and verifying that the design meets the user requirements. Support end-to-end process testing of applications, end user testing and training. Ensure that administration and user training documentation is maintained.
• Ownership. Maintain a visible and active role in assessing user satisfaction and how technology is being used. You will be a point of escalation for support including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Exceptional attention-to-detail, time management and organizational skills is required to be successful.
• Collaboration. Act as a strategic partner between the user community and the technical applications development staff.
• Project Management. Own the system development life cycle and project management using agile methodology.
• System Knowledge. Solid working knowledge of database concepts and SQL language skills. Ability to perform software installs and upgrades in partnership with /or vendor guidance/instructions. Experience working within multiple systems within various departments such as Jira, Deltek Costpoint, Hyland OnBase, iCIMS, Concur, Replicon, Box, 3PL, WorkflowGen and content management system (CMS) tools is a plus. In addition, experience working in a Microsoft server environment, including IIS web servers, database servers, and application servers.
