The Third-Party Operations Team at DAZN is all about enabling good decisions through proactive planning and management. This exciting and newly created role reports to the Head of Purchasing and Supply in the Purchasing team. Working alongside colleagues in SRM and Procurement, you will be at the core of the strategic decision-making process that is related to supplier spending at DAZN, ensuring that internal controls, policies, and procedures are adhered to. You will be at the forefront of all DAZN-related purchases and agreements with third-party suppliers, looking for ways to optimize and efficiently manage our costs. To deliver the very best content and viewer experience to DAZN customers, you will need to embed yourself right into the centre of our spend process and ensure our transactions flow to the right places for the right reasons.
In addition, you and your colleagues in Purchasing will work with the Procurement Team to identify low-risk spend to be negotiated by utilizing preferred suppliers or negotiating smaller value deals, driving costs down and service levels up.
You'll need to proactively engage with leaders across Third Party Operations to maintain a joined-up approach, supporting the outstanding Procurement function at DAZN and ensuring strategies, teams, people and processes align to maximize the value this team brings.
You will work closely with Finance and business stakeholders, so managing relationships and multiple projects is critical to performing well.
Your team
You will become a member of a new Central Purchasing Team in Katowice. You will report directly to the Head of Purchasing & Supply located in the UK.
This role can be based in Katowice or you can work remotely from any place in Poland.
- Be the gatekeeper for spend (mostly services) with third parties

Keep a close eye on our supplier database; making sure we spend with the right suppliers and align with budgets and the wider TPO Team

Manage contract purchasing and blanket PO’s

Manage the goods receipt process, as well as the PO placement and approval stages for all third-party purchases

Manage the supplier onboarding review, ensuring that the suppliers we use are the right ones for our business as directed by Procurement

Negotiate the price for low-value and low-risk spend
- 2 years’ experience working in a Procurement or Purchasing/Buying role

A good understanding of the Procurement Spend lifecycle

Negotiation skills

Experience with Oracle ERP or alternatively SAP

Good knowledge of MS Office tools

Attention to detail

Confidence communicating with and reporting to senior management on a regular basis

A good understanding of contract obligations

Basic accounting understanding

At least upper-intermediate knowledge of English (B2)
