Job responsibilities include:

• Manage buying deck comprised of Closures (Door Latches, Window Lift Systems) components
• Meet/exceed annual SCM direct material cost savings targets
• Nominate qualified new suppliers to cross-functional team for review and consideration
• Quote and source all responsible components to meet/exceed Product Line business case and timing requirements utilizing the Total Acquisition Cost Model
• Monitor and track supplier performance and initiate actions to improve supplier performance
• Schedule and participate in VAVE workshops
• Develops commodity strategies within commodity organization
• Makes commercial agreements with suppliers
• Resolves commercial issues with suppliers
