Title: Mechanical CAD Designer

Structure: Long-term contract with potential to extend or convert to permanent

Location: Hazelwood, MO

Structure: Hybrid (2 days week WFH)

Pay: $45-52/hr with benefits

Description:

Mechanical designer for designing mechanical components and subassemblies for new medical diagnostic instrumentation

Skills and Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors preferred

5+ years mechanical design experience or equivalent

Advanced knowledge of and experience using Solidworks to create CAD models and detailed drawings

Knowledge of creating mechanical drawings per ANSI standards

Strong understanding of GD&T and experience applying to designs

New product development experience

Mechanism design competency

Knowledge of PDM systems (Windchill preferred)

Responsibilities

· Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models and drawings of components and assemblies using Solidworks to support hardware development and testing using formats, templates, and modeling & drawing guidelines.

· Present mechanical design components based on product needs.

· Design control documentation as required.

· Participation in team meetings and design reviews as needed.

· Support other product development activities & testing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
