Job Title: CAD Designer Harness 2D (Drawing Release Lead Expert)

Location: Newcastle or Southam

Your Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Provide technical knowledge and guidance to other release engineers
• Develop, deploy and train people in the processes and methods for managing internal and customer related releases
• Assist the engineering heads with resource planning
• Monitor and measure the activities relating to drawing release activities and new component introduction into the drawing tool environment through KPI’s
• Responsible for releasing 2D drawings
• Provide support to the CAE champions in relation to the drawing tool sets
• Support and lead continuous improvement and standardization topics
• Ensure regular communication is made to both internal and external customers

Your Profile:

• Experienced in Harness Drawing tools e.g. XC
• Experience in harness design would be beneficial
• Ideally experienced in resource planning
• Meticulous approach to planning and tracking of deliverables
• Comfortable with large data sets
• Excellent communication skills
• Prepared to travel within the UK
