This position will be a full-time, long-term, remote contract.What You'll Do- Collaborate with teams to provide innovative solutions and recommendations for database management and improvement opportunities.- Develop and implement a long-term strategy for data storage and management.- Design, maintain, and enhance SQL database objects, including stored procedures and functions.- Address and resolve database performance issues, ensuring system reliability.- Construct and manage data warehouses, integrating business rules as necessary.- Document processes, create reference materials, and maintain workflow documentation for system operations- Monitor industry trends in database systems to inform strategic planning and provide expert advice- Estimate project timelines and resource requirements for database-related tasks- Utilize tools such as KACE and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for organizational request management, progress tracking, and code version control- Offer technical support for IT projects and provide training to IT staff when required- Explore and assess new technologies and tools for potential adoption and development improvements- Work autonomously, demonstrating effective communication and documentation skills- Support the evolution of Informatics functional architecture and system designs to fulfill organizational needs- Perform additional duties as needed to support the Informatics and IT teamsWhat You'll NeedRequired:- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant certifications- Certifications in Microsoft data systems such as MTA, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL v3, or other applicable credentials- At least 6 years of experience in healthcare claims reporting, n-tier development and support, or related areas- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or later, Visual Studio Professional/Enterprise 2017 or later, Azure Dev Ops, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS- Expertise in Advanced SQL, C#, .NET, PowerShell, or related technologies- Demonstrated experience with database development, ETL, data archiving, and executing large-scale system upgrades- Advanced understanding of SQL and MS SQL Server- Familiarity with database projects in Visual Studio- Deep knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and both structured and unstructured data analysis- Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and automated testing- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills- Ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and facilitate problem-solving across diverse groupsPhysical Demands- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 - 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementIt is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
