Job ID NumberR3349Employment TypeFull timeWorksite FlexibilityRemoteJob SummaryAs Senior Data Analyst you will enhance our client's analytics by co-developing Performance/Space Analytics dashboards, working within an Agile IS team, and partnering with data engineers to create visualization solutions that align with business and technology strategies.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Data Analyst .* This position will be a *full-time and remote contract opportunity.What You'll Do- Maintain and optimize the multi-year strategic vision for our client's space analytical platform- Refine the plan to account for changes in the long-term business strategy and new technological capabilities- Validate prioritization of enhancements are prioritized in alignment with business objectives- Identify solutions to address analytical gaps by working cross-functionally with groups such as Information Services (IS) including data architects and data scientists- Become the subject matter expert on the current toolset along with marketplace capabilities within this space- Troubleshoot issues with space analytic tools to ensure data is accurate and complete; maintain records of nuances with the data- Support peers with analytics to help influence the future of the category, including space acquisitions, fixture innovations, feature implementations, merchandising standards and beyond- Data mine our client's data platforms to uncover new insights and answer business questions; present findings back to peers and leadership to drive business decisions- Influence internal decision-making and planning based on insights derived from working with peers and datamining- Partner with IS to optimize ways to mine the data for insights and support team members with data extracts from our client's platforms- Create and maintain models to help influence optimal assortment, flow, location, etc.- Build and optimize clustering in alignment with customer strategies- Synthesize actionable insights using multiple data sources - Syndicated, customer, space etc.- Leverage analytical tools such as Space Planning (JDA/Blue Yonder), Alteryx, Tableau, and more- Question the status-quo and continually challenge yourself and the team with what is possible; develop test and learn opportunities to identify new ways to grow sales for the candy categoryWhat You'll NeedRequired- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics and analysis- 3+ years of developing and maintaining the data modeling and reporting ecosystem, ensuring service level agreements and data quality- Bachelors Degree required- Prior experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI- Prior experience working with data manipulation tools such as Alteryx- Strong knowledge of relational, dimensional, and semantic data modeling- Proficiency in methodologies such as star schema, snowflake schema, and semantic models- Knowledge and experience in working with relational/non-relational databases, e.g., Databricks, Snowflake- Experience working in a high-performing agile delivery model, aligning with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other execution team members to deliver rapid and impactful solutions that align with business stakeholders' strategy- Experience with coding languages such as Python, R, SQL- Foundational knowledge in statistical modeling- Project Management and organizational skills- Strong communication skills, including with technical and non-technical stakeholders- Ability to distill insights from data and explain key takeaways- Prior Category Management- Intellectual Curiosity- Strong problem-solving capabilitiesPreferred- Planogram and/or CPG Sales experiencePhysical Demands- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 - 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementIt is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
