Mandatory Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required
• Mechanical and Electrical experience
• Has good customer service skills
• Become part of customer's team
• Basic computer knowledge
• Works well with all departments at JBT

Preferred Requirements:

• Training in mechanical, electrical, computer and computer programming
• Experience with JBT equipment and customer machinery
• Has general knowledge of all types of instrumentation and how to calibrate

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You must be physically capable of:

• Working 10 hours per day, 6 days a week for 12 months at a time
• Working around moving industrial machinery
• Using hand tools
• Occasionally lifting parts or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally stooping, crouching, and reaching
• Walking and standing for entire shift
• Receiving and conveying detailed instructions
• Applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm and perceiving the texture of parts
• Working around exposure to machinery noise, coolants and oils, and fumes from associated flammable aerosol products
• Working around exposure from metal turnings, sharp metal edges, and moving machinery
• Working in moderate to extreme heat
• Handling moderate stress to complete work due to time constraints
• Entering data in computer
• Operating a forklift
• This position is considered a safety sensitive position, thus employee may be subjected to randomized drug testing

Compensation: $27-$30 hour
