The Role

As a Product Marketing Management Intern at Camus Energy, you will be responsible for developing crisp, differentiated, and compelling product marketing messaging and collateral for Camus’ grid orchestration software platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve the team’s product marketing goals and drive growth for our business.

Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Marketing, your primary focus will be developing narratives around the need for and benefits of Camus’ grid orchestration platform. You will create compelling content to help prospective customers understand use cases and value propositions and integrate this content into product marketing activities to drive prospect engagement and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling solutions-level narratives that align with our company positioning.
  • Create compelling and persuasive product marketing collateral, such as sales enablement materials, product fact sheets, demos, website content, and case studies.
  • Develop and execute product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively
  • Train Sales on key product features, benefits, and product marketing messages
  • Learn about our customers, contribute to marketing strategies and campaigns, and have a seat at the table with the rest of our team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship
  • Be able to commit to 40 hours per week for at least 8 weeks
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical and/or complex topics quickly
  • Ability to work successfully across a range of teams, including marketing, product, engineering, sales and customer success teams
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills – the ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs

Bonus points

  • Product marketing management experience with B2B SaaS technology
  • Visual design experience: videos, illustrations, graphics, etc. 
  • Familiarity with electric utilities, power systems, and/or distributed energy resources
  • Experience in a cross-functional role within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated interest in a mission-aligned career focused on decarbonization

Location

Remote (Based in US time zone)

Internship Timing

Flexible. 8-10 week internship running between May - September.
