We’re seeking our first Legal Counsel to join our team and collaborate closely with our founder, product, and business teams. You will be responsible for all aspects of commercial contracting, including deal structuring, and drafting, review, and negotiation of revenue generating contracts. You will also be integral to developing scalable infrastructure for providing legal support to Candid's rapidly growing portfolio of commercial customers, and play a strategic role in helping Candid achieve its goals in a time of dynamic growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
Manage nuanced commercial transactions, including the negotiation of SaaS and licensing agreements with our customers
Develop creative and analytical solutions to novel issues, while driving a portfolio of projects with minimal direction
Develop and implement scalable legal infrastructure to support business growth and operations
Who You Are
You have over 2 years of experience in commercial law and contract negotiation
You possess in-depth knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
You have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills set you apart
You can work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, leveraging your excellent communication, writing, and customer service skills
Experience in corporate legal matters, including employment or regulatory law, is a plus, but not required
Pay Transparency
The estimated starting annual salary range for this position is $162,000 - $215,000 USD. The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits. Given Candid Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Candid Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
