Embedded Linux Containers Software Engineer

Seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Containers Software Engineer to work on mission-critical Golang code for our SnapD team. As a software engineer, you will focus on software delivery, containers, security sandboxing, telemetry, and device management.

Skills

Proficient in Golang, Linux system-level fundamentals
Professional software development experience using Go, Python, C, or C++
Obsession with quality and performance
Passionate about open-source software development

Responsibilities

Collaborate proactively with a distributed team
Write high quality code to create new features
Debug issues and produce high quality code to fix them
Review code produced by other engineers
Discuss ideas and collaborate on finding good solutions
Obsess over achieving robustness despite unexpected events like power outages
Work from home with occasional global travel

Education

Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree
