Capco is a global consulting firm focused on technology and business, particularly in the financial services and energy sectors. They are looking for a skilled Back End Developer proficient in Java and AWS to join their development team.

Skills

Proven back-end development experience, preferably in a microservices environment using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
Strong knowledge of NoSQL with practical experience in MongoDB
ETL systems development experience
Experience with cloud environments
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and related tools
Knowledge of FTP protocols and handling positional files
Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs for ETL and data integration processes
Implement NoSQL data storage solutions, like MongoDB
Design and implement event-driven integration systems
Work with FTP protocols and handle positional files for data exchange
Ensure the ETL system is highly observable for easy debugging
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for requirements gathering
Conduct unit, integration, and acceptance testing
Keep technical documentation updated and participate in code reviews
Stay updated on best practices and trends in back-end development

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
