Database Administrator - Data Architecture focus

Capco is seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a strong focus on Data Architecture to join our team. We specialize in management consulting & software development for international banks and insurance companies in western Europe.

Skills

Proven experience in Database Administration with a focus on Data Architecture
Strong knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools
Experience with data warehousing principles and technologies
Proficiency in data modeling and data governance frameworks
Ability to design and manage data migration strategies effectively
Experience with data visualization tools like Looker and Qliksense
Familiarity with cloud services, particularly GCP
Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust data architecture for business intelligence and analytics needs
Administer and support multiple databases across enterprise environment
Lead data warehousing efforts to consolidate data sources into efficient storage solutions
Develop and optimize data models to improve database performance
Implement data governance protocols to ensure data quality and compliance
Collaborate with IT engineering teams on data integration pipelines
Manage data migration projects and create data visualization dashboards
Utilize AWS services for database management in the cloud

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
Relevant certifications in database administration, data architecture, or cloud services (plus)
