Life Sciences Practice Overview
The Life Sciences industry is undergoing spectacular changes, impacted by patent expirations, patient empowerment, increased regulatory scrutiny, and stringent cost containment. While the industry continues to lower costs and consolidate, it is seeking new growth opportunities through innovation, diversification, and expansion in emerging markets. Capgemini Invent’s Life Sciences practice has partnered with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to help define and deliver their future state for more than 25 years. The dedicated team guides clients from strategy to execution across the value chain. The practice’s core focus areas are commercial and digital transformation, innovation, business agility, patient services, and patient experience.
Skilled across the product lifecycle, the team brings deep experience in early commercialization, product launch, brand growth, and lifecycle management. The team’s consultants help inspire change and transform organizations. Leaders in digital transformation, the team has helped clients establish innovation incubators, develop digital medicine strategies, enhance patient experiences, and identify new revenue sources.
The role and responsibilities include Business Development, Project Delivery, and Practice Building for Omnichannel/Orchestrated Customer Experience domain focus.
Product Management-based delivery and capability-building:
o Lead Commercial Transformation engagements with large Life Sciences organizations.
o Invent and design new/improved digital customer experiences and develop digital customer engagement strategies. Lead the design of new digital capabilities, business processes, organizational designs, governance structures and measurement programs required to achieve growth, execute future state experiences and digital customer engagement strategies.
o Simplify and bring clarity to complicated situations, models and issues to create structured actions.
o Test insights and recommendations with senior management.
o Provide strategic oversight for or run projects from start-to-finish and drive blended teams of management consultants, experience designers, data analysts and technology implementation specialists to deliver according to plan (scope, quality and time).
o Mentor and coach others to deliver quality results and promote others' professional development.
o Proactively participate in North American recruitment, training and community-building.
o Be a visible member of the global community of practice.
o Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching for the team

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we
would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the
wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority,
performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary
range for the tagged location is $182,900 - $221,520.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and
any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
