Lab Support Engineer

Role Summary: (CANADA OR USA)We are seeking a Lab Support Engineer with expertise in Nokia hardware/software engineering, maintenance, and support. The ideal candidate will have experience in network management, cybersecurity, asset inventory management, and Agile methodologies. This role involves installation, upgrade, troubleshooting, and delivering fully integrated network labs.Key Responsibilities• Provide engineering, maintenance, and support for Nokia hardware and software.• Manage and support Nokia network management systems.• Implement cybersecurity measures and manage vulnerabilities in Nokia lab environments.• Conduct asset inventory management for Nokia lab equipment.• Utilize Agile hybrid methodology, employing JIRA for bug reporting, tracking, backlog refinement, and delivery progress monitoring.• Install and instantiate applications, VNFs, and platforms in lab environments.• Plan, design, and implement lab networks, ensuring fully integrated setups.• Perform lab upgrades and troubleshooting.• Maintain and support lab routers and switches, including IP subnet assignments.• Conduct lab audits to scan for software vulnerabilities, report findings, and implement fixes.Required Skills• Proficiency in Nokia hardware/software engineering, maintenance, and support.• Experience with Nokia network management systems.• Knowledge of cybersecurity and vulnerability management.• Asset inventory management experience.• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using JIRA for project management.• Expertise in lab network planning, design, and implementation.• Experience with lab upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrated network lab delivery.• Knowledge of maintenance and support for lab routers and switches, including IP subnet management.• Experience in conducting lab audits, reporting vulnerabilities, and implementing fixes.The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.67/hour - $54.18/hour.
