Test Analyst - Web and API Automation

Job description:This role is part of a QE team to work on testing & automation for Web applications including API's.Key Responsibilities:• Understand and Gather requirements• Create Test cases / scenarios• Develop Test scripts• Execute Test cases / scripts in various environments (QA, STG, etc)• Bug reporting and Defect triage• Integrating scripts with Ci/CD pipeline• Documentation• Lead teamRequired Skills:• 9+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QA testing• Expertise in Web UI testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver / TestNG / Junit / etc.• Proficient in Java• Expertise in API testing and Automation using Rest Assured / ReadyAPI / etc.• Experience using Version control (GIT), CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools, (Maven, ANT, etc), Debugging Tools (Charles/Fiddler), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (QMetry)• Good communication• Tools and software:Selenium / Cucumber / TestNG/JMeter/Cypress/ProtractorBitbucket, GITREST tools - POSTMAN, SOAPUI, Chrome REST ClientIDE - IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS CodeHP ALM / JIRA/ QMetryDevOps toolsDatabase - Oracle, SQL Server etcGood to have• Knowledge of Automation frameworks ex: TestNG, Robot, Cucumber, or any other standard framework and integration with open-source libraries or tools ex: Selenium.• Experience of Functional Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing, Regression Testing• Knowledge of CI/CD tools ex: Jenkins to integrate the Automation scripts• Knowledge of Automation planning, Status Reporting.• Cable/Telecommunication Industry domain knowledge and working experienceLife at CapgeminiCapgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career. The base salary range for the tagged location is $58,900 to $130,000.This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.
