Title: UX Designer Location: NYC, NY... Job Description: This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual to contribute to the creation of compelling user experiences across various digital platforms while fostering personal and professional growth within a dynamic team environment. Capgemini is seeking a hard-working User Experience Designer to join the team. Successful candidates will have a keen eye for clean and artful design, coupled with a genuine passion for creating exceptional user experiences for various platforms, is essential. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements. • Illustrate design concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. • Design intuitive graphics, user interfaces, menus, tabs, and widgets. • Develop UI mockups and prototypes to demonstrate site functionality and aesthetics. • Create aesthetically pleasing interface designs and define effective design strategies, adhering to design style guides. • Produce paper and electronic prototypes, wireframes, and more. • Stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques. Required Skills: • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX design. • Proficiency in various UX design skills including: analytics, design strategy, user research techniques, accessibility, information architecture, interaction design, visual communication, brand strategy, iconography, storyboarding, agile delivery, and design system. • Experience in wireframing tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, and Axure, as well as visual design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Cloud. • Excellent visual design skills with a focus on user-system interaction. • Knowledge of the latest UX trends and technologies, including a Mobile First Approach. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across various levels. • Ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently. • Proactive approach to taking on new challenges. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
