Manager, UX/UI Designer

As the leader of our UX/UI design team, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the future of our digital products. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in UX/UI design, a passion for user-centered design, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional digital experiences. If you are driven, innovative, and ready to make a meaningful impact, then we want you on our team.Lead and manage the UX/UI design team to ensure high-quality and innovative design solutions are delivered within budget and on time.Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to understand business needs and translate them into user-centered design solutions.Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of our digital products.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.Ensure all designs are user-friendly, visually appealing, and consistent with the company's brand and design guidelines.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.Oversee the design process from conception to launch, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user and business needs.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and senior leadership.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.Proactively identify and address any design or process issues to improve efficiency and productivity.Act as a champion for user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of UX/UI in achieving business success.Capital One is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
