Senior Software Engineer I
Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East, focusing on simplifying lives and enabling users to navigate various services seamlessly. They seek innovative software engineers to enhance their data platform.
Skills
- Experience in software development
- Expertise in Scala, Java or similar
- Understanding of cloud-native Big Data technologies
- Knowledge of software engineering principles
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop modern data platforms with reusable components
- Architect and implement prototypes to demonstrate data value
- Optimize code for efficiency and resource utilization
- Improve engineering processes and scalability
- Create reusable and scalable data pipelines
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
