Lead Smart-Contract Engineer

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Lead Smart-Contract Engineer - candidates can be based in in UTC-7 to UTC+3 (PST to CET) timezones.

We’re developers, and we streamline the development and distribution of interchain applications from ideation to launch. Our values? Collaboration, convention, and modularity. Our tooling includes a full-stack CosmWasm framework, on-chain application-management infrastructure, a developer console, and Accounts, our modular smart-contract wallet.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Rust engineer who will help architect and maintain the core smart-contract infrastructure for the platform. You will have full product ownership over the smart-contracts and associated packages that make up our on-chain infrastructure. You’ll work with our other skilled engineers to scope out and develop features, identify problems in the codebase and incorporate customer feedback.

This role is a great fit for someone who likes to take on ownership and responsibility over a codebase that they can manage.

Responsibilities

• Ownership over our monorepo
• Collaborate on and lead the development of our core on-chain infrastructure.
• Help develop architectural decisions and roadmaps.
• Build and maintain open-source software in Rust.

Be located in UTC-7 to UTC+3 (PST to CET) timezones

Strong architectural skills are required (Microservices / multi-smart-contract applications / container orchestration / etc)

Project and codebase management experience. You’ve managed a +20k line codebase before

Prior professional experience in the web3 space
