Internal Movement Eligibility:
  • Must be in good standing in current position (no formal performance development Written Coaching Letter,Corrective Action Notice, or Final Corrective Action notice - within the past 6 months).
  • Has not transferred in the past six months from current department in current station. This requirement can bewaived for promotional opportunities such as SA to CSA/CXA or CSA/CXA to Specialty CSA/CXA.
  • Must be in current role for at least 1 year if transferring from outside of the ACS/CGO/Clean/GSE division.
  • Currently on active status, however, if you are on an inactive status, you may be eligible to transfer if you arereturned to active status prior to the transfer date.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Must successfully pass all pre-employment and assessment requirements if applicable.
  • If you recently accepted an offer within ACS/CGO/Clean/GSE division and retracted it after 72 hours ofacceptance, you are required to wait 6 months to be eligible for a new role.

The Unit Load Device (ULD) repair technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of over 22,000 Delta ULDs. The technician will repair containers and metal pallets in accordance with commercial maintenance manuals and certified policies and procedures.

The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $24.49.

The technician will be safety-focused and execute these critical duties and skills:

  • Promote on-site Delta safety and environmental compliance.
  • Repair/assemble ULDs including aluminum and lightweight containers, heavy-duty pallets.
  • Repair ground handling equipment and galley carts, according to manuals.
  • Adhere to Component Maintenance Manuals guidance.
  • Comply with FAA and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform Pallet Straightening.
  • Execute routine and non-routine tasks independently.
  • Maintain clean work area free of debris and well organized.
  • Ensure system security of the electronic recordkeeping system for maintenance actions.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Station Manager/Supervisor.
