Position Summary:The Graphic Design & Visual Communications Specialist will work in collaboration with the Manager Marketing Special Projects & Shared Services to develop strategic visual communications for Stratum shareholders and member audiences and portray a positive awareness of their brand and services. This position is responsible for producing high-quality and volume multimedia messaging and other digital marketing materials in adherence to current brand standards using industry-standard software programs.Qualifications:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication, Journalism or related fieldEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS* Experience or training in graphic design is preferred.* Experience with post-production responsibilities such as digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms is required.* Minimum five (5) years* experience in marketing, journalism or related field is required.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE* Expertise with small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing is required.* Familiarity with design programs* Ability to coordinate production of printed designs with vendors.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and simultaneous projects and work well in fast-paced environment with attention to detail are required.* Photography or videography skills are not required.* Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and MS Office is required.Essential Functions:* Assists with the design, development, creation of content* Supports the development and publication of work through design of print, graphic or digital deliverables* Designs and creates computer-based, web-based or multimedia-based layouts, graphics, animation and/or content* Uses graphic design computer software and tools to compose original images for branding, marketing collateral, training material, etc.* Contributes to brainstorming and development of design content and collateral* Solicits and analyzes feedback to increase effectiveness of design* Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for patient stories, organization announcements, promotions, product marketing, recruitment, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects.* Execute quality video and sound projects from start to finish, including but not limited to planning, shooting, importing, editing and exporting.* Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects.* Coordinate logistics of video shoots (scout, select and reserve locations, involve additional talent, inventory and transport equipment, assess power needs, etc.).* Perform other job duties as assigned.Supports departmental staff in the following applications: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft OfficeWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
