THE ROLE
This role sits within the OEM & Media team. We’re looking for Technical Ad Ops Manager
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Managing a portfolio of campaigns and helping to resolve any operational and technical issues that arise across the Carwow Group Network.
- Support the ad serving needs of different teams in our 3 markets.
- You will debug Ad code and software integrations where required such as our DMP, CDP or programmatic partners with both internal and external development teams.
- Become the ‘go-to’ person in the digital business for Ad serving technology-related questions or trouble shooting including creative debugging for delivery.
- Help lead the technical implementation and help drive the correct usage of our key commercial technical products across our Ad stack
- Support the Campaign Operations team where relevant to aid in the delivery and success of all campaigns
- Work alongside the relevant product management specialists to help deliver prioritised improvements to our commercial delivery function
- Identify commercial opportunities for future development based on the current and future media landscape
- Prioritise development items that maximise business value
- Aid in the technical review of any supplier selection process across our commercial product stack
- Understand the current commercial landscape across media by working with peers and suppliers.
- Help train and knowledge share across the department
- Monitor and troubleshoot various ad related issues.
- Maintain documentation of integrations and technical run books.
- Address any inefficiencies in our platforms.
- Working with Analyst/Developers to ensure data capture is accurate.
- Partner with development/product teams to implement new technologies and codebase updates.
- Manage relationships with multiple ad tech vendors used for campaign delivery and analytics
- Gathering industry information and consistently being on top of digital operational updates and specifications for company developments
- Where required, you will assess, test and integrate new Ad serving technologies into our Ad stack
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Knowledge of ad serving technologies and systems in particular GAM
- Someone who has 5+ years of ad operations experience with a strong technical and setup background, publisher experience preferred
- Someone who is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent and confident interpersonal skills to persuade negotiate and establish good working relationships with colleagues and clients/agencies
- Understanding of GDPR and the impact of decisions
- Experience in product development working practices with agile methodologies.
- Experience of application & technical system integration working with both internal and external partners
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a cross functional environment with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent data analysis, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail in documentation and communication
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet variable deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and define own workload
- Experience in the media industry or online advertising environment.
- An Interest and experience with debugging toolsProven problem-solving skills.
