A Cashier’s primary role is to assist customers in the in-store check-out process. Main duties include ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change. An ideal candidate will have the ability to balance a till and familiarity with cash register operator procedures. Ideal candidate will also have experience with customer service and be willing to go out of their way to make customer happy.
