Shipping Manager

This is an immediate start 4-month contract opportunity to work for a biotech company as their Shipping Manager, overseeing the distribution and logistics of their product.Key Responsibilities:• Manage the daily shipping activities for biotech products, including handling sensitive materials and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries. Coordinate with warehousing and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.• Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping routes, minimize costs, and improve delivery efficiency. Manage relationships with shipping carriers and negotiate contracts and service agreements.Qualifications:• Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping and logistics management.• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Biotechnology, or a related field.• Ability to work onsite in Kansas City 5 days a week.
