Head of Lifecycle Marketing

The Head of Lifecycle Marketing is a strategic role, defining and executing innovative marketing strategies, including email, push, text, in-app messages, and more. The focus is on building driving activation, engagement, and retaining users for multiple sites in the Catena Media portfolio. This individual will be a key leader on our team, steering targeted strategy to engage users and drive conversions.


YOUR CHALLENGE:
  • Reporting to the VP of Product, the Head of Lifecycle Marketing will be responsible for driving activation, engagement, and retention of users for multiple sites in the Catena Media portfolio
  • Through a variety of communication methods including email, push, text, in-app messages, and more, you will help develop the strategy for and build a highly personalized user journey to ensure users are activating on key product offerings
  • You’ll work closely with inbound marketing, product, engineering, and the data team to develop exciting, engaging roadmaps, and then drive the adoption of new features & benefits
  • Be a critical player in the development of a highly personalized user experience for our existing users
  • Manage testing across your channels across the user journey
  • Work closely with the broader marketing team to develop activation & engagement priorities based on business goals
  • Own the planning, creation, and analysis of automated messages in customer engagement tools
  • Analyze campaign performance to continuously improve the user experience
  • Improve internal systems to make the team faster, more nimble, and more efficient
  • Manage and mentor a team of managers, specialists and analysts.


TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ of experience in lifecycle marketing, preferably in the gambling/sports betting verticals
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation tools and CRM systems
  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Strong track record of A/B testing for optimization and holdout reporting to measure campaign and channel effectiveness
  • Experience in managing multi touch communication marketing campaigns, including email, push, text, in-app messages, and more.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-centric mindset
  • Experience doing lifecycle for a global company including localization considerations
  • Competence in analyzing marketing data to refine and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to balance creative and strategic demands.
  • Strong leadership qualities, capable of developing high-performing teams.


Working Conditions: 


This position is 100% remote. Must be available regular business hours in your evening and/or weekend work on occasion. Must possess a stable, high-speed internet and working cellular telephone. Must be able to routinely perform indoor work with minimum noise levels. Must be able to perform job functions independently and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence, naturally or electronically and may include adaptive aids. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.


Physical Requirements: 


Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 8 hours per day. At times, occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities, as may be occasionally asked to travel to sites or events. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
