Summary:
The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) Mapleton team has a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) role open to support the talent lifecycle for our dynamic business.
This position will strategically consult and provide leadership to the Mapleton Cast Metals Organization (CMO) business partners on human resource initiatives and employment-related topics.
In this role, you will be the strategic liaison who implements talent strategies aligned with business objectives, provides guidance on HR policies and practices, and fosters a culture of employee engagement and development.
What you will do:
Collaborating with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with Mapleton's strategic goals and objectives.
Aligning HR policies and programs for LPSD Mapleton which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
Skills you must have:
Business Acumen / Knowledge of Organization:
Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Influencing:
Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Data Gathering and Reporting:
Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
Employee Relations:
Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
HR:
Policies, Standards and Procedures:
Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.
Talent Management:
Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
Education:
College degree in business or human resources OR equivalent HR work experience Top candidates will also have:
Experience with analysis and reporting Experience presenting complex themes to audiences at various levels within an organization Outstanding judgment and creative problem-solving skills Excellent project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Ability to maintain confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills, and personal accountability What you will get:
