Our clients include DHS, DHA, DoS, USMC, US Army, HHS/Indian Health Service, Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Indian Education, among many more.Proposal Role - Relocation AvailableResponsibilities- Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of databases across various platforms, to include Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL- Support the sustainment of existing and delivery of new automated Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) pipelines, using a suite of COTS, GOTS, Java, and other tools- Resource should have strong knowledge in Azure Cloud and Informatica ETL (Hands-on). · Responsible for evaluating migration needs, design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.- High performing, being accountable on given tasks in timely manner, adapting to changes, going above and beyond to achieve project goals.- Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation. · Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.- Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features. · Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.- Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with TIS integration program. · Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.- Supports the architectural aspects of all application projects part of TIS integration Program.Qualifications- Experience with:- Apache Niagra Files (NiFi)- Apache TIKA- Databricks and Lakehouse architecture- ElasticSearch- AWS SQS- Experience with tools such as Splunk and Grafana- System operations functions across various Operating Systems, to include Linux (such as Redhat, CentOS, and Amazon Linux) and Windows.- Experience utilizing various CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab and GitLab Runner- Experience deploying and orchestra??ng Docker containers in cloud environments- Must have active Top Secret or TS/SCI.Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
