EV - Business Development AssociateJob ID169957Posted04-Jun-2024Service lineAdvisory SegmentRole typeFull-timeAreas of InterestTransaction ManagementLocation(s)Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of AmericaAbout the roleSelf-motivated, energetic business development associate needed to focus on generating sales for Electric Vehicles (EV) Charging Stations through cold calling and leveraging industry and client relationships.Play an active role in the client engagement process by gathering information, generating sales activity and conducting outreach to create sales opportunities for the Electric Vehicles (EV) team with existing and prospective clients.What You'll DoSource properties and portfolios for EV Charging Stations.Prospecting and outreach through programs working in collaboration with marketing and subject matter experts to generate new clients and expand sales.Assist and track business development efforts through the use of CRM software’s including Salesforce.Research pursuits to aid management in business planning and strategy development.Support other subject matter experts with various business pursuit projects.Assist with due diligence and competitive analyses for new business pursuits including research, analytics, data mining, and data collection.What you’ll needBachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.1-2 years of sales experience, electric vehicles industry highly desired.Prior business development, sales, commercial real estate, consulting, research, client development, and/or marketing experience highly desired.Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including executives, facility managers, city officials, utility planners, marketing, co-workers, etc.Ability to manage a high volume of projects at various stages within project timelines.Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.Experience with contracts, real estate, EV charging infrastructure, policy or permitting, a plus but not required.Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce or other CRM, highly desired.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.Why CBRE?When you join CBRE you will have the support and resources of a global firm where an entrepreneurial mentality is encouraged. The minimum salary for the EV Business Development Associate position is $70,000 annually or $33.66 per hour and the maximum salary for the EV Business Development Associate position is $80,000 annually or $38.47 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
