This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.What you'll do- Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.- Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.- Drive the budgeting process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting.- Approve balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows and supporting schedules, and standard consolidated reporting packs.- Review and approve all monthly journal entries.- Produce a variety of sophisticated routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses for senior management and planning unit.- Implement research, development and preparation of accounting policy and procedures.- Lead special projects and prepare presentations for management.- Exchange and explain difficult information, conveys performance expectations, and handles sensitive issues.- Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreement.- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and exciting performance and retention is helpful.Ability to lead the exchange of critical, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.Leadership skills to empower the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job subject area, multiple job subject areas, and department.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Extensive interpersonal skills and an inquisitive approach.Intermediate math skills. The minimum salary for the Sr. Finance Manager position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr. Finance Manager position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
