GA-CCRi maintains and deploys production solutions, including Thresher and Dragonspell, for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial industry. GA-CCRi is looking for a Federal Portfolio Department Manager to report to the VP of Federal Programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Typically accomplishes objectives through subordinate management.
- Acts as the primary customer contact for activities and technology roadmaps for the department above individual program level that span a 1-to-5-year time horizon.
- Program lifecycle management
- Collaborate with the VP of Federal Programs, VP of Business Development and the Federal Programs Technical Director to evaluate new business opportunities and expand existing business opportunities based on the capacity and core competencies of the department.
- Lead, influence, and review the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract(s).
- Collaborate with the Department Technical Lead to oversee the development of design concepts and acceptance criteria for solutions, product, and services research, development, testing, and integration.
- Represents the Federal Portfolio in relationships with customers, General Atomics organizations, partner businesses, and local community.
- Develop Department long-term vision
- Consults with VP of Federal Programs and executive management to develop and implement current, annual and long-term technical, business, and financial objectives for the assigned department within the federal business solutions and services.
- Participates in developing Federal Portfolio objectives and long-range forecasts that align with and enable achievement of corporate objectives.
- Defines and coordinates strategy, vision, roadmaps and delivery methods across multiple solutions, products, and services while serving multiple customers.
- Influences Federal customer roadmaps to drive future portfolio growth.
- Provides direct supervision to Product Management staff members. Product Management aims to maximize value delivered to customers through solutions created by the portfolio and answers the question of what capabilities should we build, and with what priority, to generate value.
- Ensure technical leadership and excellence is maintained by providing collaborating with Department Technical Lead on the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required management, professional, and technical talent.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Typically requires fifteen or more years of progressively complex program administration experience with at least eleven of those years managing multiple teams and efforts.
- Demonstrates extensive application of program management principles, concepts, and practice as well as comprehensive program management and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet agile software product delivery objectives.
- Strong financial acumen at a project and business level; Successful experience of budget management.
- Strong communication, leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.
- Experience collaborating with technical leads and customers to support creation of technology roadmaps that span multiple solutions, systems, or programs.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience delivering programs using SAFe Agile approaches
- Experience delivering Tracking and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) technologies to the Federal government

Pay Range
$145,000-$220,000
